Boston-based artist Amy Ross attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, she earned a BA in Religious Studies from Connecticut College in 1994 and a Master's in Theological
Studies from Harvard Divinity School in 1997. Amy has had solo shows at Jen Bekman Gallery, New York, NY; Allston Skirt Gallery, Boston, MA; Romo Gallery, Atlanta, GA; the Schlosberg Gallery at Montserrat College of Art, Beverly, MA; and Motel Gallery, Portland, Oregon.

She has been in two-person shows with Sue Coe at Overtones Gallery in Los Angeles, CA, and with Justin Gibbens at Punch Gallery in Seattle, WA. In the past three years, she created wall drawings for "Going Ape: Animals in Contemporary Art" at the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, MA; "On the Wall" at Cleveland State University Art Gallery, Cleveland, OH; and "The Drawing Show" at the Mills Gallery, Boston Center for the Arts, Boston, MA. Amy's works on paper have been shown in numerous group shows in the past year, including "Zoologia Fantastica" at the Cantor Gallery at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA; "2" at Project 4 in Washington, DC; and "Why Look at Animals?" at ArtSpace in New Haven, CT.

Her work has been reviewed in The Boston Globe, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Seattle Post-Intelligencer, The Cleveland Plain Dealer, and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
