Art Market San Francisco
All of SF is abuzz with arty events this weekend, the biggest of which is Art Market San Francisco. This fair certainly has a distinct West Coast flavor, but the roster features an impressive array of galleries from all over the world as well. Don't miss our very own William Swanson's gorgeous original paintings, on view at the always-excellent Eleanor Harwood's booth, as well as Jessica Snow at Traywick Contemporary. The fair has partnered with city art museums to bring thousands of visitors a wide selection of programs including talks and tours by exhibitors, collectors, and designers AND there are some very cool satellite fairs happening this weekend as well. Last but not least? Plenty of parties—before, during, and after.

He has a keen ability to capture the quirk and revelry of the party scene perfectly. His work in The New Yorker's feature on the Whitney Museum private opening is a testament to this talent. Another notable spread is his "Star Wars' Leading Ladies" series in Vogue—an insider's look into a very different kind of party.
