I have long been interested in the idea of artist as mad scientist. In my studio, I combine bits and pieces of flora and fauna to create fantastical hybrid creatures. These nature morphs, as I like to call them, can be humorous and light hearted, the fruits of play in the studio, as is often the case with my collages. When I paint with watercolor, the reference to botanical and natural history illustration lends the work a weightier tone, suggesting a vision of genetic engineering gone wrong, of an un-natural history.

Our quoted dimensions are for the size of paper containing the images, not the printed image itself. We do not alter the aspect ratio, nor do we crop or resize the artists’ originals. All of our prints have a minimum border of .5 inches to allow for framing.
