Kroik
is
a
New
York
City-based
illustrator.
She
was
born
in
in
Russia,
St.
Petersburg.
She
received
a
BFA
in
illustration
from
the
Art
Institute
of
Boston,
and
an
MFA
in
painting
from
the
University
of
Oregon.
She
has
been
working
as
a
freelance
illustrator
since
2007,
and
as
a
university
art
instructor
for
the
last
10
years,
teaching
in
institutions
such
as
the
University
of
Oregon,
City
College
of
New
York,
Fairleigh
Dickinson
University
and
more.
Kroik
has
created
2
covers
for
The New
Yorker,
and
is
represented
by
Magnet
Reps
illustration
agency.
