Artist Statement

Painting gradients and rainbows delights me. There’s always a surprise as I watch the colors transform into one another. Creating this rainbow village gave me the opportunity to make so many different color combos and learn. I try not to put too much thought into the process and let the spectrums evolve on their own terms. Sensuous paint strokes, thick and thin, trace the color transitions. Globs of paint are glorious on their own, and also serve to intensify the gradients. Vibrant colors, thick panels and juicy paint come together to deliver a lovely rainbow chunk.

Why We Love It

Drawing inspo from architecture, diagrams, and just plain life itself, Jennifer tries to create completely based off what catches her eye without reading too much into what prompts the idea. These panels are compact, glee-containing treasures that come ready-to-hang and ready-to-love.
