As a second part to my Disassembly series “Things Come Apart”, I continued to photograph both old and modern objects that are no longer used by the masses. This Kodak 8mm Movie Camera was a design classic from the 1950's. With a f2.7 lens and 16 frames a second shutter was a simple camera that the amateur was waiting for. This was the same camera that my father used throughout his younger years and still exists to this day.
Created to show the true beauty of these objects from the inside and how well built they were to stand the test of time. They are photographed both in an “apart” exploding through the air version and laid out version. This print can be paired with Disassembled Brownie below:
