These three illustrations are part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's collection of pomological watercolors. The collection was created in 1886 as a research reference for pomologists—scientists growing fruit—as well as fruit breeders and growers. The expansive collection covers 38 plant families in total.

The three pieces here each depict three different berry plants by three different artists: Rubus: Golden Queen painted by Ellan Isham Schutt, Rubus: Black Pearl created by Royal Charles Steadman, and Fragaria: Early Ozark by Amanda Almira Newton (the woman also behind the vibrant, juicy Prunus Persica: J.H. Hale). This delectable trio of blackberry, raspberry, and strawberry reminds us of lazy summer days, sitting in the sun eating bowls of fresh-picked berries.

+ Limited-edition, exclusive to 20x200
