I was in the town of Napa for a commercial shoot, and was having one of those magical afternoons where the world was seemingly handing me little photographic gifts as I wandered around an old section of downtown Napa on foot—I was in a flow state. By taking a photograph, you monumentalize the “everyday extraordinary” as Nathan says in her bio. Even the simplest things—like a slice of lemon meringue pie in Evening Sun—demand and deserve your attention "... Read more from Carly Piersol on the blog!
