Artist Statement

Man-shroom on the other hand is a tad more colonial than come-hither. This wide-brimmed button top is a stately specimen with corpulent heft—a portly porcini, if you will. Clad in culottes and shod in les chaussures fit for the French Court, Man-shroom is très chic. Oui, Oui!

Why We Love It

These ambulatory agaricuses are a joyful homage to earth’s offerings and the interconnectedness of all life through Ross’s whimsical artistic wizardry. It’s her way of appreciating our shared vulnerability, and blurring our presumed boundaries. Morel of the story? All mushrooms are magic.
