Artist Statement

When I was first starting my career as a designer, I visited a design firm who had, on a giant wall in their office, hundreds of pieces of breakfast cereal arranged by size, color and shape. I was intrigued by these tiny objects and amazed and their differences and similarities. On my way home, I stopped in a drug store to get Halloween candy and was inspired by the beauty of these tiny, jewel-like everday objects, often consumed but visually ignored.
