Known for his book “Every Person In New York: Volume 1,” Jason drew the perpetually moving inhabitants of New York City, including its animals, featured on the re-issued Zoo Baggu, and the new Doggu.

Exhibited worldwide, Polan's illustrations have appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, ARTnews, and more. Jason was also a stellar human, and he is dearly missed.
