Artist Statement

My new print edition is part of the Color Stack series, where I explore the simplicity of the painted line via the weight and gravity of stacking bright and pure color. The precariousness of each added line counters the weightlessness of the white paper support. The tension, with each pull of color, as it spreads end to end, one bar upon the next, creates the piece: a full stack of color.
