Artist Statement

I like quantities a lot. I have drawn over 40,000 of these giraffes. They have changed a bit over the years (some of the older ones even had tails!). Sometimes while I am drawing them, I count the spots. I was thinking the other day about how many I have drawn and the number of spots on each one and I realized I have probably drawn over a million spots by now! I like the act of drawing the giraffes a lot and I hope you like them too.
