Glynnis, cofounder of The Li.st with our last featured 5+5er Rachel Sklar, is the kind of New Yorker who renews my faith in the idea that there are some great things about our fair city that'll never change. She came to New York City willing to be lucky and worked her way up to becoming a media powerhouse. But there are many things I adore about her: she's an inveterate pedestrian who's game to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge no matter the weather and one of my favorite people to break bread with. Look for us in the back booth at Russ & Daughters Cafe having midweek brunch (because we can!) or tucking into some fries late night on a Tuesday at Balthazar because we can do that too! - Jen Bekman & Team 20x200
5 Perfect Picks
1) Juke Joint, Melrose, Louisiana, by Marion Post Wolcott
I don't know what I love more about this, the sensation of being on a road trip, or the saturation of color, which to me so distinctly screams America.
2) plain, by Tom Kondrat
West With the Night is one of my favorite books, and this makes me think of it.
3) Praia Piquinia 28/08/11 15h24, by Christian Chaize

4) Untitled (Santa Barbara) (2008), by Liz Kuball
Somehow the stillness of this photo still manages to capture all the potential of a car. This is not a commuting car. It's a road trip car. I want to know the places it will go.
5) Black Marble (Europe and Africa), a 20x200 Space Edition
Perspective is important.
