Juke Joint, Melrose, Louisiana by Marion Post Wolcott
Tomorrow would be Marion Post Wolcott’s 109th birthday, which makes today the perfect opportunity to remind you to check out our awesome assortment of limited-edition Wolcott prints. The pioneering, progressive artist is best known for the work she produced for the Farm Security Administration in the 30s and 40s, as the FSA’s first full-time female photographer. Most of our Wolcott artworks come from that body of work, after the files have been carefully remastered by our curatorial team.
Below, take a look at some of our Wolcott editions, then head over here for our full collection. While you're at it, don't miss scholar and 20x200 contributor John Edwin Mason's writing on our powerful Wolcott print pairing. Happy birthday, MPW!
