Artist Statement

Plant Parenthood is part of “real life charts,” a series I started in response to a seven-year struggle with chronic pain that limits my ability to draw and design digitally. I use paper, pen, and objects to communicate an idea or an observation, and I rely on the form of the object to guide the narrative.
