Was anyone affected by the Microsoft outage last week? Events like that make us realize how interconnected our busy world isâand how much can be derailed so quickly (remember the container ship that held up the Suez Canal in 2021??). In fact, blips like this probably happen much more often than we realize, and itâs thanks to everything behind the scenes that we donât see as customers + consumers.
Weâre feeling grateful for the hardworking people in global logistics, supply chains, technology, airlines, and many more industries that make our lives easier! The late closers, cart pushers, farm workers, rail riders, (and many many moreâhealthcare heroes, we SEE you!!) are the folks who keep things up and running around here. And when the world needs to stop for a minute, itâs a nice reminder that sometimes we need to stop, too.
