As the leaves hit their colorful peak and we pull out our coziest socks and sweaters, we begin to settle into that time of year where our homes are the only places we want to be. The weather outside isn’t frightful (yet), but we’re getting ready for our annual period of hibernation. What better way to usher in the season of snug than Trey Speegle’s delightful Welcome Home?
Our first peek at Welcome Home led to some seriously cozy daydreams: the sounds of crackling leaves under fall boots, followed by hearty home-cooked stews and too much mulled wine. Trey’s print perfectly captures that fanciful feeling of rounding the last bend in the road, watching the early evening light shed shadows through the trees, knowing that the comfort of home is minutes away.
Long time 20x200 friend and artist, Trey Speegle, has a way with letters, numbers, and color (I mean, Can You Imagine?). Each of his works beautifully combines the can-do attitude of the everyman’s paint-by-number set and Trey’s own exquisite vision, resulting in stunning landscapes and vistas inscribed with brief, thoughtful messages that add so much more to the image.
Home is where the heart (and the art!) is. While the days grow colder and the nights grow longer, you can curl up by the hearth (or the space heater) and know that you are always Welcome Home.
With art for everyone,
Jen Bekman + Team 20x200
