Garden Shadow by Helena Wurzel
This art’s got your back—literally! Today we’re dropping our second serving of free, downloadable, artist-made backgrounds to make over your video meetings. It was SO FUN to see screenshots of folks using selects from the first set, we couldn’t wait to get new options out there for ya. 29 more artist-made options, to be specific! They’re optimized for Zoom, but you can (should!) use them wherever they work.
Just like our first batch of virtual backgrounds, these add some delight-inducing, curator-approved visual interest to your video calls. Find yourself in Jessica Zollman’s ranunculus field, dip your toe in Helena Wurzel’s Tulum Pool, stroll through Don Hamerman’s old school meat market, and get a little fresh air in one of Ariel Lee’s landscapes. Or maybe you’d rather take some typographical positivity from Debbie Millman, Matthew Hoffman, or Ruben Natal-San Miguel, or drown in April Waters’ donuts. You do you!
And this time we included 10 artworks from our collection of Vintage & Space Editions, so you can pop up in your next video parley with a legendary Dorothea Lange photo behind you. Or an imagined space colony from a futuristic 1970s study. Or an Edo-era Japanese fart battle. (We won’t judge.)
With art for everyone,
Team 20x200
