NEW ART: Emerge Into Autumn with Tatsuro Kiuchi

Tunnel—our seventh (!!) edition by Japanese illustrator and 20x200 favorite Tatsuro Kiuchi—is your gateway to autumnal adventures and new beginnings.

Tunnel by Tatsuro Kuichi
10"x8" ($24) | 14"x11" ($60) | 20"x16" ($240)

Tuesday greetings, collectors! We released our first edition with Tatsuro way back in 2009, after Jen spotted one of his charming illustrations on the cover of Poetry Magazine over that summer. A few months later, we celebrated the World Series with the release of Tatsuro’s In The Ballpark print. We’ve been fortunate to collaborate with him regularly ever since, accumulating a lovely little collection of his editions over the years. Today, we add Tunnel to that ensemble, and look forward to adding many more editions by Tatsuro in the years to come.

Tunnel has been teed up for a while now, but it was only late last week that we realized that this eve-of-October Tuesday would be the perfect day to release it. We’re big fans of the fall season around here, what with its decorative gourds, glorious colors and bustling activity. Once the air attains a bit of snap, we’re in love with being outdoors all over again and look forward to making the most of our weekend adventures before the cold months of winter set in.

Tunnel evokes the get-out-and-take-it-all-in feeling that’s afoot at 20x200 HQ. It’s a feeling that’s inspired by the season and by how far we’ve come since relaunching the site last fall. It’s hard to believe, but we’ve been heads-down for close to a full year now, working 24-7 to bring everything back up to speed.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve all felt a bit of a shift taking place. The hard work’s starting to pay off, things are falling into place… we might even be able to take a moment or two to enjoy the season that we love so much! It’s as if there’s a light at the end of the Tunnel, and we couldn’t be more delighted to ride out into it at long last.

With art for everyone,
Jen Bekman + Team 20x200
