Greetings, collectors! The December holidays are upon us and we’ve got another special something that’s sure to dazzle those holiday guests (or giftees!). Brooklyn-based ceramicist Julia Elsas is back with some handmade, original Wall Hooks that are just as fun as they are functional.
Elsas brings us four different styles, each with their own big personality. The Arc comes in orange or chartreuse, a swooping double hook for the minimalist with a silly side. The bold blue Spine is a statement-making single hook with a tall stance for extra presence. And last but not least, the speckled Wiggle is the multi-hook with a little diva in it.
Each hook is one-of-a-kind and hand-built in Elsas’s Sunset Park studio—a vibrant project-filled space that just oozes creative inspiration. We first collaborated with Elsas last year to produce The All is a Miracle Dreidel. The project was a triumphant effort to honor the traditional dreidel game in celebration of the Hanukkah holiday and to create a sculptural object to be displayed all year ‘round. And of course, they spin!
We’re delighted to work with Elsas once again to offer supremely stunning ceramic objects that exude playfulness. But hurry! With only a handful of each hook available, these won’t be around for long. Snap one up quick (and maybe a dreidel too!) just in time for the holiday season!
