Back to school? Maybe not so much. Here in NYC at least, public schools won’t fully reopen come September. But summer break’s still ending, so while we all recover from whiplash (did July even happen?) the team’s dreamed up a way to inject a little art-educational, kid-friendly fun into this very weird back-to-school season: 20x200’s ABCs of Art!
Each letter in our art-lovers alphabet links up to a 20x200 art piece, via some very important vocabulary. (Q is for Queso, Y is for Yoncé, and N is for Naps—need we say more?). While you’re scrolling, you can keep the learning coming when you click into any of the featured artworks for a deeper dive. Check out the artist’s statement, hit “Why We Love it” for the 411 from team 20x200, buff up on the artist’s bio, or just take your little one’s lead and get lost in our art collection. The beauty of our visual alphabet is it doesn’t cap out at kindergarteners!
If you and your schoolkid crew have half as much fun flipping through our ABCs as we did putting them together, you’ll have some (secretly academic!) art entertainment at the ready. Bonus: our selects double as recs for upgrading a kid’s room. And you don’t have to hear the alphabet song. Not once.
With art for everyone,
Team 20x200
